Hey everyone and thanks so much for all the comments, it has become a really lively place on here. Sorry for the gap in posting, it has been a very busy few days with work, Easter etc. Well I am still loving this WOE and had a sneaky weigh-in this moring and am down another 5 pounds – which is fab. Yes I have a long way to go still, but feeling like this, instead of the usual starving, grumpy way I feel on a ‘diet’ is going to make the whole journey that much more enjoyable.
I think the other part that motivates me is that this is a whole change to the way I think and the way I eat, which means that it is a permanent change and thus not like a usual diet, where you may lose some weight but at the end you will come off the diet and pile back on all the weight – oh yes and a bit more for good measure!
I am continuing to listen to the CD, which I believe really is a major part of making me feel good. I just turn it on before I go to sleep and not only does it relax me but it make me feel a whole lot more positive in the morning.
Please keep the comments coming – I can’t wait to hear about everyone’s progress.

Filed under: I Can Make You Thin, Paul McKenna

I just saw a bit of the show on TLC last evening but I am very intrigued by it. I already started today with slowing down and putting down my fork and trying to be more careful and concious of how I am eating.
Hungry for more information.

I started Paul McKenna’s program 9 days ago. I am watching his 5 week series on television here in the US. I have been on Weight Watchers prior to that. I have had success on WW, but it requires a lot of planning. I have gotten so used to it, that it is hard to stick to the “eat what you want” part of Paul’s program. I find myself eating the healthy stuff and chewing it FOREVER. I stop when I am full, which is usually halfway into my meal. I snack a little in between on fruit or something healthy. I am wondering if I am not getting enough calories to support my metabolism due to the WW “diet food”. Do you think it matters?
